CLIENT TESTIMONIALS
The team at Ryan Pacyga Criminal Defense takes great pride in knowing that we go to great lengths to fight for our clients’ rights. We want to share with you what some of our clients have had to say about working with our team. It’s an honor for us that they entrusted us with their cases and we look forward to providing you and those you care for with the same expert level of service in your time of need.
My son was being investigated for rape (criminal sexual conduct). We called Ryan Pacyga right away and told him what we needed help with. Ryan was on the phone asap and started to help my son as soon as we got off the phone. Ryan stopped the police and the detective from going after him. Ryan met with us the next day and he got all of the information from my son on what went on. Ryan was very much up front on what could happen to him. Also, he did not hold anything back as for as what he can be charge with. He was honest and direct. It was scary for all of us. Ryan was there for us. If we called he answered and kept us up to date on things. Ryan used his private investigator to conduct an investigation into the allegations. Within 5 weeks Ryan called to tell us that it was over and that he convinced the detective not to charge my son with rape. Thank you very much Ryan and his group. T.R.
I was arrested this in Sept. 2010 for a fourth degree DWI, my first offense, and had no clue what to do. I read a lot of comments online saying that your first offense was no big deal and that you should just pay the fine and get it over with, but that was not an option for me seeing as my employment was directly related to my ability to drive for my company at the time. Had I just paid the fine and gotten it over with I would have lost thousands of dollars and a promotion I was supposed to get. So what did I do? I began looking through the piles of letters I was getting from what seemed like every small town lawyer that could afford the postage. I ended up settling with a friend’s uncle who had been practicing law for a VERY long time. He made a lot of promises and told me to let him take care of everything so being as I was new to this type of thing, I of course listened to him and wow did that turn out badly. I heard nothing for six months. Two weeks before my first trial date I received a call from someone at his office stating that he had passed away and they did not have any records of the money I had paid him therefore I was out a lawyer and out my money. I had contemplated going to my first hearing alone and pleading guilty and getting it over with. I showed up decided to explain my situation to the clerk and got my first trial date moved. The next day I contacted Ryan through the website, he called me back right away. We had a meeting the next week, and proceeded through the process. The entire time Ryan and his staff was always keeping me up to date and keeping me informed which was a HUGE difference from my last experience. He took the time to explain how the justice process was going to work, and watching him and listening to him in court is something to see. After all was said and done, first he got my implied consent dismissed and within an hour he got my criminal charges dismissed as well. I ended up pleading guilty to a petty misdemeanor for an equipment violation, needless to say huge win for Ryan, and huge win for me. If you are reading this and wondering what I was wondering, if it is really worth it to hire a lawyer for your first DWI, let me tell you from personal experience it most definitely is, and in my opinion Ryan is the best man for the job. Being well represented legally is one thing; having a compassionate and thoughtful attorney COMBINED with good representation is rare and hard to find – - but that is exactly what you will get with Ryan Pacyga representing you – - the total package.
My son (40 years old) has suffered from a long addiction with alcohol having been born with FAS and was recently picked up for DWI with a count of .22. Given the circumstances, we weren’t seeking an attorney to get him off of the charges which wasn’t going to happen given the evidence. We were seeking an attorney who could help our son deal with the downward spiral of his life. Ryan did just that.
Over a period of months, Ryan represented my son to the highest legal standards and effectiveness. There were consequences as there should be for such an offense. Our greatest fear as parents was that some night he would kill an innocent person while driving intoxicated; our second greatest fear was that he would kill himself. Ryan got our son involved in an alcohol treatment program (that worked) and had him monitored for six months three times a day with a breath analyzer as part of his defense to offer evidence to the court that this person had turned his life around.
Today, our son has been sober for seven months. His marriage has been saved; his relationship with his family is once again fun and vibrant; and his business is the best it has ever been.
I presume there are several defense attorneys in town who could have represented our son well enough against a DWI charge. I know from first hand experience that Ryan Pacyga is a rare find and a true professional who combines his legal experience and expertise along with human compassion to do what’s right for BOTH the person he represents and the society in which we all live. I cannot recommend Ryan highly enough – - and I have worked with many attorneys in my various businesses for over 40 years.

It was apparent from my first phone conversation with Ryan that he was extremely knowledgeable on DWI laws. He gave me a lot of good information on how to handle things leading up to the trial. He and his team were great about always keeping me informed on the progress. Once at the hearing, it was obvious that Ryan was truly there to help me. We received a plea offer right away, but Ryan thought we could do better, so we went to trial. Even though it would have been easier for him to say take the plea and save himself 5 trips to court. Thanks to Ryan the DWI, open bottle and speeding ticket were all dismissed. Thank you for your dedication and excellent work! I would definitely refer you to anyone looking for criminal defense. A.B.
I am very happy with the help Ryan gave me. He did an excellent job representing me. He was able to get me out of trouble and keep me out of jail in my first case. On my second case, thanks to his representation he kept me out of jail again (for a probation violation) and got me released from probation all together. I would definitely hire Ryan again if needed. Ryan made my whole life a lot easier. Thanks very much, J.A.
Ryan Pacyga and his team is the team you want on your side.
I was in the middle of a grey area assault case. I used self defense that cause $65,000 in damage to another's face. I was looking at 7 years in prison. I was offered two pleas, neither of them being very good. I knew I was innocent of the charges. And so did Ryan. I have never been in any fights or any sort of trouble before. So when it came to being forcefully grabbed by someone else, I did what is human nature and swung. The prosecuting attorney was trying to paint me as a "Bully" to the jury. He said that my bad ethics and poor friend choice was the cause of the victim confronting me. All of the victim's witnesses said the same, that I was "provoking a fight" and not acting in self defense.
When it was Ryan's turn to cross examine everyone of the witness, He was fantastic. Ryan was direct but polite when impeaching what the witnesses said. He is very strong with his ability to make the jury members see that the witnesses were not credible on the stand. When it came to our witness, he knew when to point out to the jury as to why what they stated was important to the case of self defense.
Ryan's closing statement was something from a movie. It was amazing to watch and listen to. He was clear, precise, and very visual with his argument. He pointed out the flaws of the victim’s story and the state’s case. It was what I believed swayed the jury to believe in self defense.
From being when I first meet Ryan in person, to the reading of the Not Guilty verdicts by the Judge, I felt like I was in good hands. Knowing that Ryan was there for me really helped me stay positive during the trial.
If you ever find yourself in trouble, I highly recommend Mr. Pacyga and his Criminal Law Firm. You won’t find someone that understands and listens to you in other attorneys.

I made a big mistake one night, had way too much to drink and found myself charged with felony assault. I didn't know where to turn. I heard Ryan on the radio. He sounded so professional and knowledgeable. I called his office and spoke to him, he put me at ease and long story short, and we were able to get it down to a misdemeanor. Ryan made the process so much less stressful for me and my family. Thank you Ryan.†“And Amber, his assistant was so wonderful. She always made me feel as if I were there only client, Thanks Amber.

I appreciate all of the comfort, words of advice, and they way your team has responded to the issues I have had surrounding my legal issues. I am very grateful to have met Attorney's who strive for excellence, progress and care and concern. I am so thankful that you all hung in there and kept fighting for me until the fight was over. Thank you for not giving up on me, and showing me the right way to take care of legal situations. From here on out I will always put Pacyga & Associates first, and I will always give referrals. Thank You.

I hired Mr. Pacyga to represent me in a first degree controlled substance case which, at the time, was at the State level and subsequently went Federal. I was in jail, waiting my bail hearing and the attorney of my co-defendant recommended him. I was told that he was an aggressive, intelligent, young and one of the top criminal defense attorney's in the State. I have worked in the legal field for years and Ryan immediately set himself apart from any other attorney that I have dealt with in the past.
Ryan's word is his word and I found out quickly that you can count on it. His court room persona was impressive, so impressive that after my sentencing even the investigators in my case were commenting on what a great job he had done and that he was one of the best attorneys they had seen. During the whole process of my case, Ryan was there, night and day to answer any concerning questions from me or any of my family members. He went above and beyond to get results and I truly do not believe the outcome of my case would have been what it was without Ryan representing me. My family and I have the utmost respect for him, not only has an attorney, but as a person too.

The officers told me I would lose my license and the vehicle after being arrested for a DUI. Thanks to Ryan's representation none of this happened. Ryan is so dedicated and driven by his work, you can be sure that he is doing everything possible for your case. He never gives up! He wants to win just as much as his client. Ryan and his staff were very helpful throughout the whole process, always keeping me up to date on everything and being there to answer all of my questions. Ryan was able to prove that it was an invalid seizure and my case was thrown out. I highly recommend Ryan to anyone who wants to fight their rights to the fullest.

I was arrested downtown Minneapolis and charged with Obstruction of the Legal Process. This was particularly troublesome, given that I was to leave in 6 days for a 2 week trip to Asia. I called Ryan on a Sunday morning, and he returned my call within minutes. I was able to meet with him immediately. He assured me that he and his team would handle the pre-trial, which was to take place during my trip. After the pre-trial, he and Amber executed each detail of my defense with precision. They kept me informed each step of the way. The case resulted in a decreased charge (Disorderly Conduct) with a one-year stay of adjudication and a small fine. I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ryan to anyone in need of legal defense.

Ryan and Page represented me last year through a dispute with my ex-wife. My experience with them was more than good and better than I could have ever expected. They were always able to answer my questions and keep my mind at ease through my difficult situation. I was in court with them 4-5 times and they kept my butt out of jail. The end result was more than adequate and the deal they got me was more than I could have asked for. I definitely have and will continue to refer Ryan and Page to anyone looking for a criminal defense lawyer. Thank god for 93X because that's where I heard of Ryan first.

Although the scope and caliber of his cases may vary from one to the next, you can be sure that his commitment and diligent efforts to provide the best defense possible is his number one priority. He will fight for you until the end. He is the first attorney that I actually felt stood up for me while at the same time keeping my best interests in mind...
Poor decision making in my early to mid 20's led to a handful of unfortunate and unnecessary encounters with the Law. These offenses were DUI related in nature. Given the severity and possible punishments associated with these infractions, I have hired my share of defense attorneys over the past 7 years. There was one lawyer that stood out much more than the rest. His name is Ryan Pacyga, and as far as I'm concerned, he is the best in the business. Mr. Pacyga is not only very good at what he does, but also radiates a passion when it comes to defending his clients! His simple yet unique demeanor in which he presents himself is what separates him from the rest. Although the scope and caliber of his cases may vary from one to the next, you can be sure that his commitment and diligent efforts to provide the best defense possible is his number one priority. He will fight for you until the end. He is the first attorney that I actually felt stood up for me while at the same time keeping my best interests in mind. Ryan Pacyga misses nothing when working a case and is very sharp and keen in the courtroom. I would highly recommend him and any representation affiliated with Ryan Pacyga. It is with appreciation, respect, and gratitude that I write this letter. Thanks again Ryan for everything!

Just wanted to say that Ryan and his staff handled my case very well. Going into a situation I knew nothing about, Ryan made sure I understood and took the time to explain all of my questions. Facing the charges brought against me this was unfamiliar territory for me. With a possibility of fines and jail time, Ryan made sure I didn't have to do either of them. Ryan got me a excellent plea deal, which I was more than happy with. Ryan makes sure you understand what's going on at all times, what could happen, what will happen, and offer his best advice that he has, make no mistake. Worth the money I spent to deal with my situation, and would recommend him to anyone needing legal counsel.

I was arrested for 3rd Degree DWI on a Saturday morning and put in jail. I was told I would be sitting in jail until at least Monday morning. My boyfriend called Ryan, and he had the Judge set bail immediately. Then he got my driver's license and license plates reinstated so I didn't lose my job.

I was picked up by the police put in detox at about 2:00 a.m. on a Saturday. I would have had to sit there all weekend, but Ryan drove to a Judge's house, had him sign an order, and then I was released to Ryan's custody by Saturday afternoon. He kept me calm and helped me out of a horrible situation.
