Mike Fredrickson focuses his practice on representing people. He focuses on representing the people that make up our nation and local communities who are facing a fight against a goliath— usually the government. He takes pride in standing up for the underdog even when it might not be easy, or the popular thing to do. Mike was often described while in school growing up as having a "strong sense of justice" and he now applies that sense to his cases.

Mike began working in a courtroom while in law school as a student attorney and has been representing clients since. Most of Mike's practice consists of criminal defense, representing clients charged with any type of crime. He has succeeded and achieved exceptional outcomes for clients in all types of cases, ranging from misdemeanor DWI to serious felonies that carry long prison sentences. 

Mike is known for his relentless approach in making sure no stone is left unturned in his cases. He excels at researching complex and tedious issues related to his cases and then making the law work in his client's favor. In particular, Mike excels at representing clients charged with drug related crimes because those cases lend themselves perfectly to his skillset. In drug-related cases, Mike is able to seamlessly merge his legal knowledge with his courtroom abilities to challenge the government's intrusion into his client's privacy. 

Mike also has an everlasting hunger to learn and can often be found on the phone with other lawyers talking through cases together even when he is not involved in the case. He firmly believes that "rising tides lifts all boats" and that the mantra applies to all criminal defense attorneys and their clients. Mike strongly believes that it takes an army to fight the government on a daily basis, and that all criminal defense lawyers and their clients benefit from a united front when fighting for justice. 

When he's away from work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and child, playing golf or hockey with old friends, and getting outside.
